Speaker Pelosi is unable to deliver the bailout bill, 94 Democrats oppose the Democrat Speaker of the House.
Republican Minority Leader Boehner, delivered 65 votes for this ghastly measure, going against Republicans principles.
Opponents said part of the reason for the opposition from Republicans was what they termed a partisan speech by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, said one GOP source.
"Pelosi's partisan speech has caused our members to go berserk and may cost us any remaining chance to pass the bill," the source said.
Pelosi had said that Congress needed to pass the bill, even though it was an outgrowth of the "failed Bush economic policies" of the last eight years.
Supporters of the bailout bill had said they didn't like it but didn't want to play with history or risk an economic collapse.
"I'm not willing to put that bullet in the revolver and spin it. I will take the political risk," said Rep. Spencer Bachus, R-Ala., the ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee.
They have stood up for their principles. They are refusing to risk taxpayers money to cover-up the criminal activities of the Democrats.
Democrats,
who refused to regulation Fannie/Freddie,
who demanded loans be given to uncreditworthy minorities,
who turned a blind eye to "enron accounting" at Fannie/Freddie,
Democrats who turn to former CEO's of Fannie/Freddie for economic advise,
Democrats who gleefully received $100's of thousands of dollars from Fannie/Freddie.
Now we see what was brought with that money.

WASHINGTON -- Eleven of Georgia's 13 House members voted against the $700 billion emergency rescue of the nation's financial system.
Democrats Sanford Bishop and Jim Marshall were the lone Georgia representatives to vote for the plan, which was defeated by a stunning 228-205 vote on Monday.
Fellow Democrats John Barrow, Hank Johnson, John Lewis and David Scott voted no. As did Republicans Paul Broun, Nathan Deal, Phil Gingrey, Jack Kingston, John Linder, Tom Price and Lynn Westmoreland."I just don't think there's been any alternatives that have been looked at sufficiently," said Westmoreland.
