If they lose, they will riot.

The old school Democrat motto was:
If we lose, we sue.
They tried and failed at this twice - Florida in 2000, Ohio in 2004
Now, it is "If we lose, we will riot"
or "Elect us to ruin this country or else."

Liberals Warnings About Obama Loss May Prove Self-Fulfilling

Townhall

by Dennis Prager

If Barack Obama loses the 2008 election, liberal hell will break loose.

Seven weeks before the 2008 presidential election, liberals are warning America that if Barack Obama loses, it is because Americans are racist. Of course, that this means that Democrats (and independents) are racist, since Republicans will vote Republican regardless of the race of the Democrat, is an irony apparently lost on the Democrats making these charges.

That an Obama loss will be due to racism is becoming as normative a liberal belief as “Bush Lied, People Died,” a belief has generated intense rage among many liberals. But “Obama lost because of white racism” will be even more enraging. Rage over the Iraq War has largely focused on President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. But if Obama loses, liberal rage will focus on millions of fellow Americans and on American society.

And it could become a rage the likes of which America has not seen in a long time, if ever. It will first and foremost come from within black America. The deep emotional connection that nearly every black American has to an Obama victory is difficult for even empathetic non-blacks to measure. A major evangelical pastor told me that even evangelical black pastors who share every conservative value with white evangelical pastors, including pro-life views on abortion, will vote for Obama. They feel their very dignity is on the line.

That is why the growing chorus -- already nearing unanimity -- of liberal commentators and politicians ascribing an Obama loss to American racism is so dangerous.

It will be the racism of the Democrats that will sink the Obama campaign.

Affirmative Action is striking back at Obama,
Obama has become a US Senator due to Affirmative Action,
he got into Ivy league schools due to his race,
he graduated from those schools due to his race,
he got his jobs due to his race,
The 'machine' in Chicago saw him as good puppet,
so the 'machine' got him into the State Senate,
and told him to avoid votes - so he voted 'present' [130 times],
the 'machine' openned the sealed divorce records of Gov Ryan to clear him out of the way so Obama could enter the US Senate.
The 'machine' wants their puppet in the White House.

And the 'whites' who, like me, have been denied jobs and opportunities because the company has to promote less qualified people because of their skin color in order to meet their affirmative action quotas, are going to vote against Obama - because he is less qualified than McCain.

Voters do have to apply affirmative action when they vote.

the other guy

From the NYT

Meanwhile, the Other No. 2 Keeps On Punching [Himself]

FLAT ROCK, Mich. — As the economy reels, Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. — the Other Running Mate — has been absolutely butchering Senator John McCain across the Rust Belt this week. It is not clear who has noticed.[nobody noticed]

...

The older woman who introduced him at a rally here called Mr. Biden’s Republican counterpart, Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, a “bucket of fluff,” and he rewarded the woman as he took the microphone with an “I love you” and a gentle kiss on the head.

[What a sexist pig.]

...

The Obama campaign was hoping to reintroduce Mr. Biden this week as running mate attack dog. But his penchant for verbal rambling ensured that much of the attention he drew was unwanted: he said wealthy Americans had a “patriotic” duty to pay more taxes, a remark the McCain campaign mocked relentlessly.

[Joe, go remind your fellow Democrat, Mr Rangel, to do his patriotic duty, on time, not just when caught red-handed.]

...

“People got to wake up, because these guys in Washington are raping this country,” said Dave McLimans, a steelworker from Coatesville, Pa., who attended the rally in Media. “Joe Biden talks in a way that can wake people up.”

[wake up Mr McLimans, Joe Biden has been in the US Senate for the last 35 years - he is one of  'these guys in Washington'.

Bob Hope was correct, Democrats are vombies.]

...

He barely mentions the Alaska governor in speeches; in the interview, he described her as “a very attractive political personality” who can “really deliver a political message.”

[A damn good political message. ]

...

Mr. Biden retains his regal senatorial bearing even in gritty settings of the campaign trail. On Wednesday, he wore a pressed blue blazer with a hanky folded smartly into the breast pocket. His skin is perma-tanned, and his smile is shiny white. He has his own big entourage now — own bus, own plane. He conveys the giddy sense of a man who has won a political lottery, or been plucked from an elite purgatory.

[Joe Biden, an elistist snob, part of the Washington incrowd. A big part of the problem in DC.]

...

“Remember, no one decides who they’re going to vote for based on the vice president,” he said. “I mean that literally.”

[Well Joe,

Barack Obama's wimpy choice of you, shows his arrogant stupidity, and makes it easier to vote against your ticket.

John McCain's brillant choice of Governor Sarah Palin, really makes it easier for me to vote for McCain/Palin.

So, the Vice-Presidential choice does matter, literally.]

Dishonest Democrat, Yes, I repeat myself.

Yet another dishonest Democrat blaming others for his criminal activity.

From the New York Times:

Representative Charles B. Rangel has delivered six checks, totaling $10,800, to New York State and to the I.R.S. to pay the back taxes he owes from rental income on his Dominican villa, his legal team announced on Friday

Mr. Rangel acknowledged this month that he had failed to declare $75,000 in rental income from his beachfront villa on both his tax returns and financial disclosure forms. Mr. Rangel’s lawyers said he owed back taxes for at least three years and had hired a forensic accounting firm to review his records dating back 20 years to search for additional omissions.

...Mr. Rangel, a Harlem Democrat, has come under fire in recent months for his fund-raising and personal finances, and is also the subject of two other ethics investigations: one into his use of his Congressional stationery to raise money for a City University of New York center that will bear his name, the other involving the four rent-stabilized apartments that a landlord allowed him to lease at prices far below the market rate.

...Because Mr. Rangel is the chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, which writes the nation’s tax code, his failure to pay taxes has proved an embarrassment. Republicans, and several newspaper editorial boards, have called for him to give up the chairmanship. But after Mr. Rangel met with the House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, this week, he announced that he would remain as chairman. A resolution to remove him as Ways and Means chairman was defeated on Friday, largely along party lines.

Mr. Rangel and his staff did not return repeated calls requesting comment on Friday. But in an open letter to New York residents, the congressman said he was the target of a “guerrilla war” being carried out by Republicans. “The campaign season has begun, and to no great surprise, I’m now a Republican talking point,” he wrote. “But I assure you, I’ve brought no dishonor to my family, the Congress, my constituents, or my country.”
Mr. Rangel,

It is your fault.
You claim ignorance of the laws you wrote.
It is your fault that you are ignorant of the law.
You should know the tax law or you should hire folks who do know the tax laws to do your taxes.
It is your fault.

It is your fault.
That you disobeyed the laws of the City of New York, owning 4 different rent-controlled apartments.
You are the one denying other folks a place to live.
It is your fault.

Mr Rangel, other people would be jailed for these crimes.
but you are a Congress Critter who thinks himself above the law.
Mr Rangel, you are a leader of the most dishonest Congress ever.
and
It  Is  Your  Own  Fault.

McCain

in 2003, President Bush wanted to tighten the regulation of Fannie/Freddie Mac, but Democrats blocked the efforts [see NYT quote below the fold]

in 2005, Senator McCain tried again to tighten the regulation of Fannie/Freddie Mac, but the Democrats blocked the effort.
[see the Congressional Record, below the fold]

We now learn that Fannie/Freddie Mac gave huge amounts of money to Democrats - Senator Obama ranks at #2 right behind Senator Dodd. - this is money given over the last 10 years [Obama was only receiving money for 3 of those 10 years]

The sub-prime mortgage crisis was fueled by Democrats.

McCain tried to head off the problem but was not able to overcome the bribe money tossed to Democrats.

McCain has a better grip on economics than Obama.

Sham Energy Bill

The House [Democrats] introduced new energy legislation late last night. Finally…right? The House also wants to bring the 290-page bill, which can be found here, to the floor today. You think the 435 Members in the House of Representatives are going to meticulously read all 290 pages? A bill that makes fundamental changes to thousands of pages of earlier energy bills as well as the tax code. Please

[no modifications are allowed to this bill, which was introduced last night, this bill is a pile of dung that DEMOCRATS think they can slip by us, while claiming to ACT on the energy crisis, the reality is otherwise]
...

We can’t be that hasty. Just because the bill mentions drilling doesn’t mean it’s a good bill. The “compromise” bill would set a permanent ban on drilling within 50 miles of the coast while allowing states to decide whether they want to drill or not between 50 and 100 miles. But thanks to the Institute for Energy Research, let’s check out where the oil actually is. The bill would:

• Permanently ban access to 97% of the 10.5 billion barrels off the California coast. Then, California gets to decide whether to produce just 3% of its resources.

• Continue the ban on the Eastern Gulf of Mexico, an area with an estimated 3.65 barrels of oil and 22 trillion cubic feet of natural gas

• Institute a first-ever 50 mile ban off the coast of Alaska.

[This Democrat bill actually BANS DRILLING]

McCain and Email

The reason he [McCain] doesn't send email is that he can't use a keyboard because of the relentless beatings he received from the Viet Cong in service to our country. From the Boston Globe (March 4, 2000):

McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. Friends marvel at McCain's encyclopedic knowledge of sports. He's an avid fan - Ted Williams is his hero - but he can't raise his arm above his shoulder to throw a baseball.

And the Obama Campaign wants to use McCain's injuries from his captivity in Communist North Vietnam against him.
McCain received those injuries while serving the United States of America, those injuries came while McCain was defending the free people of South Vietnam.
Obama supports oppression.

McCain and Palin support freedom.
McCain and Palin understand the price of freedom. (Sending your own children to a war zone.)

“A vote a day, keeps Obama away.”

This from a  former Hillary and current McCain supporter:

My name is Lynette Long.  I am a feminist, a mother, a Democrat and an ardent Hillary Clinton supporter and I am voting for John McCain and Sarah Palin on November 4.

...

...

... And yesterday, I understand Senator Obama personally said, “You can put lipstick on a pig, and it’s still a pig.”  Well, Mr. Obama, calling girls names is something fifth grade boys do and I don’t want a fifth grader running my country.

I might not agree with Senator McCain and Governor Palin on all the issues, but I don’t agree with any candidate on all the issues.  But in Senator McCain and Governor Palin, I find two people with personal integrity and a love of their county --- individuals who not only talk the talk but walk the walk.  I can work with that. I will vote for McCain-Palin. In fact, I’ve decided to try to win one vote a day for the McCain-Palin ticket. My new personal mantra is, “A vote a day, keeps Obama away.”  I urge all Clinton supporters and McCain supporters to do the same.  Thank you.

Wipe-out

The Obama/Biden campaign is going thru a wipe-out.

Like a surfer falling off their board,
the wave crashing over them,
smashing them on the rocks.
WIPE-OUT!!!

From FoxNews.com

and
" Obama's 'lipstick on a pig' comment grabbed all the headlines, but a line he delivered just before that has critics wondering if his speechwriter is a cartoonist."

The major question of the day:
Will Obama try the 'Eagleton Solution' like McGovern did 1972?
or
Will Obama be stuck with Biden?
(Because Hillary is too smart to board a sinking ship.)

Real surfers get back up and ride another wave after 'wipe-outs' just like a real bicyclist rides again after crashing. But Obama seems 'fake' to me.

Politics of Katrina Relief

Senators Obama and Biden favored earmarks including the "Bridge to Nowhere" over using those funds to aid the victims of Katrina. Why? Because they wanted the victims to suffer so they could try and blame their suffering on Republicans.

From the Chicago Daily Observer:

Now that Alaska is front and center in the news again, it is a good time to catch up on a favorite story, The Bridge to Nowhere, using the Washington Post US Congress Votes Database.

Though Gov. Palin originally supported the earmark spending on the Ketchikan bridge (“to nowhere), she eventually killed the project, chosing to spend Federal money on other infrasturcture programs.

However, Sen. Biden and Sen. Obama voted for funding the Bridge, even when given a second chance by Sen. Tom Coburn, who proposed shifting earmark funds to Katrina relief.
Senator Tom Coburn, a Republican, proposed shifting the earmark funds to Katrina Relief, and the Democrats opposed the shift --
The Democrats wanted people to suffer so they could win.
The Democrats would never risk losing an election, to ease the suffering of American Citizens.

Mid-east endorsement of McCain/Palin

Now this is a reason to vote for McCain/Palin.

McCain-Palin Ticket Chills Arabs, Muslims

AMMAN — With the U.S. presidential elections just two months away, many Arabs and Muslims are increasingly worried that a victory for another conservative Republican administration will exacerbate the tensions and turbulence that have followed the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States.

The events and speeches at the Republican Party convention in Minnesota, which endorsed the candidacy of Arizona Senator John McCain and his running mate, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, were given special attention in the Arab media, as commentators voiced fears that a McCain administration would pursue, perhaps more belligerently, the path of the current government.

As a rule, Arab governments in the region prefer to refrain from showing their preferences in U.S. elections, but the media, including the state-controlled TV and press, have made no secret of their desire to see a new leadership in Washington that is run by Democratic presidential candidate Illinois Senator Barack Obama.

54% to 44%

54.40 or Fight

Gallop's most recent poll of likely voters
Obama  / Biden       44%
McCain / Palin         54%

And this after more TV viewers watched the Republican Convention than the Democratic Convention.

Senator McCain and Governor Palin are on their way to victory. If they continue their smart campaign. They will win, and win easily.

Senator Obama and Senator Biden are flailing. McCain's choice of Palin as his VP, has thoroughly confused Obama and Biden. The Obama bin Biden campaign is headed for defeat.

As Governor Palin convinces more people that she is more qualified to be President than Senator Obama....The McCain/Palin Ticket will gain more and more support.

Too bad they can not appear in uniform

Just watched the CNN video of McCain's arrival in St. Paul,

All of their children were there. Including both of McCain's sons, who are officers in the US Marine Corp and Private Track Palin, US Army.
Both of the Marines stepped to their father's side and gave Track Palin a big welcome.

Now, the media focus is on the young couple, Bristol and Levi. Who received a long greeting from McCain.

I wish the boys could appear in uniform, but the regulation that prevents that is a good one. And I support the rule which sez no political activity in uniform.

The Reason Dems Hate Her

The reason the Dems and liberals hate Governor Sarah Palin:
not because of her conservative views,
not because of her Christian views,
not because of her accomplishments,
not because of large family,
not because of her support of our troops,

No, the Dems hate her because:
Gov. Palin is a beauty queen who is more manly then Sen.Obama

Another one rides the bus

The John McCain Straight Talk Express is getting another passenger, Levi.

Yes, the young father of Bristol's baby, soon to be a member of the Palin family, is joining the campaign. Brave kid.

This is how it should be. You grumble and growl of the mistakes the kids make, then you embrace them, and reinforce the message of your love for your family.

You decide

As Michelle Malkin observes,
the Palins see a baby as a blessing -
Obama as a punishment.

Who do you want in office?
One who thinks a baby is punishment
or
One who thinks a baby is a blessing.

Choose wisely.

In touch with the People

Bristol Palin (17) is pregnant, about 5 months along.
She intends to marry the father.
She intends to raise her own child.

The worst fears of a parent realized, unwed teenage daughter is pregnant.

Her two hard working parents, Sarah and Todd, support her decision to keep the child. So do I.

I also support the decision of Levi, the father of this unborn child, to marry Bristol and help raise his child.

Modern parenting is very difficult.
